Wilde Western, tactile western story

After having developed a new technique to emboss paper, Juliane started to be
interested in tactile depictions for visual impaired people. Research in that
field showed that illustrated tactile publications are mainly made for children
or students, and therefore served only an educational purpose.
Juliane took this as an opportunity to make her first tactile publication purely
to entertain the reader. It became the first Tactile Western Story – an
adventurous story told through an elegant book of Braille and embossed drawings.
The reader is guided by touch through a world of symbols – the hat, the
horse, the gun, the saloon, love, pride and friendship.
